When you nourish your body with good carbs you'll feel satisfied a lot longer, so you won't be eating unhealthy snacks in between meals that keep the weight on.

Try healthy grains or carbs, such as quinoa, brown rice, sweet potatoes etc. These are not fattening and they are nutrient dense.
